Regional Sales Director – Americas

Our company was formed in 2021 following the merger of two leaders in the aviation fuel and cost management space — FuelPlus and Airpas. Together, we have over 100 customers, 20+ years of experience in the field, and well-established strategic partnerships with industry bodies like IATA. 

Every year, we manage over 28% of commercial aviation fuel and more than $76bn of direct flight charges for airlines.  

Our headquarters and development center are in Europe, but we operate worldwide, with customers in the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe.

About the role

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in the North and South Americas region. Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

Your responsibilities

  • Own, develop and execute the regional strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Research and identify customer prospects and targets
  • Develop new opportunities by working with Marketing on opportunity generation
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Promote the company and the brand at conferences and through other marketing channels, to establish our position in the market
  • Achieve a personal sales quota both for bookings and new tail acquisition
  • Maintain customer, opportunity and forecast detail in the CRM system, as directed by sales leadership
  • Develop and actively maintain sales forecasts across assigned accounts and lines of business
  • Manage all steps in the sales process including qualification, demos, proposals, securing required contract paperwork, and coordinating with the customer support team to drive ongoing success and adoption.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business
  • 5+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales or business technology products and services
  • Knowledge of challenger sales or similar methodologies preferable
  • Experience with complex and long sales cycles
  • Experience selling to C-level and mid-level decision makers
  • Highest level of written and oral communication skills
  • Highest level of interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience in ERP, consulting and/or airline sales is a bonus.
