To further our growth, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/w/d*) for 40 hours per week to join our Project Management team.

About the role
As a Project Manager at Skymetrix, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of mid-size projects, ranging for a duration of 6 months to 2 years. You will ensure a continued focus on the commercial impact of the delivery and results, constantly striving for high levels of satisfaction and success for your Customer, Skymetrix, your delivery team and yourself.
Your responsibilities
- Full lifecycle Project & Programme Management of Skymetrix customer onboarding in a fast-paced dynamic environment – including all core aspects required to successfully planning, forecasting, resource management and reporting.
- Identifying best practices and developing ideas for the strategy of the respective Business Unit.
- Stakeholder Management – Managing and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders – within Skymetrix, Customer and Partners.
- Managing Budgets – Tracks budgets of up to $200,000-$1million for both revenue and project cost.
- Risk & Issue Management – Effectively manages risks and issues at the project level.
- Improving existing training modules and best practice materials.
- Support the evolution of the Skymetrix Onboarding methodology
- This is a client facing position working partially on client sites. You must be willing to travel.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a client facing full lifecycle Programme, Project or Change Manager within a technology/business transformation environment.
- Experience with mid scale, highly complex projects across multiple SaaS platforms related to Professional/Managed Services.
- Prince 2, PMP or equivalent (Waterfall) Agile Certification (PSMI or equivalent).
- The ability to lead through inspiration, empowerment and making clear and confident decisions.
- Active integration of a wide range of thoughts and perspectives in order to develop more robust plans and solutions.
- Ability to see others’ potential and strengths, and work proactively to build on them.
- A confident communicator who can identify core messages and articulate Skymetrix’s vision at all levels of stakeholder and is comfortable engaging senior management to steer complex programs.
- Someone with a strong commercial focus in all areas of delivery, relationship management, and the identification of both opportunities and risk.
- Capability to thrive under pressure: you are most comfortable working in a fast pace environment, spinning multiple plates at any one time.
- An astute self-awareness: you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses and have a continued focus on personal development.
Location and reporting
- Based in the Americas region to service customer projects within the Americas time zone, with frequent communication with head office in Brunswick, Germany and our production offices in Brasov, Romania
- Report to Team Lead Project Management based in Germany
