Mexican airline Concesionaria Vuela Compañía de Aviación, SAPI de CV – commonly known as Volaris – has chosen Skymetrix to help manage its key direct operating costs and streamline the profitability of its routes. The fast-growing air carrier has chosen a Skymetrix solution that will semi-automate and improve the accuracy of its invoice verification and accrual processes for fuel, airport, ground handling and navigation charges. It will also enable the airline to enhance the planning and management of its routes.

Volaris has selected this technology to reduce invoicing errors and overpayments and streamline back-office processes. The aim is to put the airline in a stronger position and enable it to scale more efficiently.

Sigurd Meyer-Hess, Head of Professional Services & Customer Support for Skymetrix said: “We are thrilled that Volaris has selected us as their partner. As an ultra-low-cost airline, they were looking for a solution that would offer a strong ROI. After carefully evaluating our product and services, as well as hearing positive reports from our other customers, they understood that we could provide this.“

The solution has been live since February 2022.
